We have a deep care and understanding for the sacred and divine energy behind Metaphysical Healing and we treat the process as just that.  We put a lot of time and effort into our shop to ensure that your purchase with us is an experience. Shopping on the Internet can often be disappointing and we strive to set our services apart from online warehouses. Each stone is handpicked to ensure quality and high vibrational energy. They are then cleansed and charged upon its arrival at your door under the light of the full moon and through a smudging ceremony centered around love and light  and the utmost guidance in the journey of life.

Payment

Our shop offers direct checkout to make your experience with us as efficient as possible. We accept various types of payment such as payment via Credit Card, Pay Pal, or Gift Cards.

 

Your orders will not be shipped until your payment is received. Orders cannot be canceled once they are shipped due to the costly prices and processes of the exchange.

 

Shipping

 

After we receive your order notification and payment it can take us anywhere between 1-3 business days to prepare and ship your package (unless noted otherwise). Rush delivery may be granted upon request. We offer Calculated Shipping to help you get an accurate price for your shipping needs based on the weight and size of your items AND it's necessary packaging. If you are buying multiple items we will try to combine your items into one box to decrease shipping weight/cost. If we are able to combine your items into one box and save on shipping costs we are more than happy to refund you the difference once your item ships.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The most common way for packages to get lost comes from a simple error in an Etsy users address information. All orders are sent to the address listed on your account so I highly recommend verifying your information. Upon completion of your order a tracking number will be given. If the package gets lost your order cannot be refunded nor do we accept responsibility. Once the package is handed off to the postal service it is no longer our responsibility. If the postal service marks your package as "delivered" and you claim that you have not received the package, we do not accept responsibility nor grant refunds of any kind.

 

If you have a larger order and would like insurance over $100 on your package please notify us BEFORE checkout so that the proper adjustments can be made. Taxes and Duties/ International Customs: All of our goods are exported free of tax from our end. Please check your local customs regulations for any international charges that may occur. We are not responsible for anything you are taxed from your country in regards to your purchase with us. If you choose to ship with us Internationally we highly suggest Priority Mail Shipping. Please message us for extra information on added tracking. If you are shipping Internationally we are not responsible for your package once it is accepted by the post office even if it's marked un-delivered via USPS tracking. 
 

​Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations:

 

The relationship and vibration you hold with your stones is very important to us. If you are unhappy with your order you may send it back within 7 days from the day your item was delivered and you must contact me within 3 days of delivery (unless otherwise noted in the listing, if it is marked final sale it is a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged). The item must be sent back before use and in its original condition and tracking must be included along with proof of shipment. Item must also be sent back in original packaging to ensure safe arrival , if items are returned damaged you are responsible to the cost of the item and we will not be held liable. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the costly fees associated with running an online business the credit will not include the amount you paid for it to be re-shipped. Once the item is returned you will receive a store credit for a crystal or stone that better suits your needs. In addition, orders cannot be canceled once they are shipped as there is nothing I can do about your item as soon as I send it off to the post.

 

PLEASE NOTE: FamiliarScent is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages. If your package takes longer than you expected to be delivered make sure to contact me right away so I can help to pinpoint and resolve the issue. Once your package ships we no longer hold responsibility for its whereabouts. If you are purchasing a large order with us and you want added protection feel free to message us about insurance options for your package. Having insurance on your package is very helpful in the case that the post office loses your package and you want to file a claim with them. Helpful Hint: Make sure the shipping address listed on your purchase is correct. In the case that you did not list the correct shipping address we do not accept any responsibility for this error. We understand that accidents do happen and we are more than happy to help you by getting in contact with the post office  to notify them of the mistake and request a change in the information given. Any fees associated with this change are not our responsibility.

Due to slight variances in measurement and weight scales from tool to tool it’s possible for listed measurements to be off by a few millimeters, centimeters, or grams. Although this is a rare occurrence it can happen and we ask that you be open minded and understanding if there is a very small difference. We try our best to list exact measurements and weights but very, very small variances can occur and we do not accept refunds for such instances. 

 

The crystals and items in the background of our photos are not for sale and not included in your purchase of the main crystal listed in the title and photographed for purchase. 

 

If an items listing title says "reserved". "private listing for", or “payment plan” for a specific buyer (unless you are that buyer) please do not purchase the item. In the case that you do purchase the item the transaction will be canceled.

 

If we create a custom payment plan for you, you are responsible for following through with the agreed upon payment schedule. Holding these items away from other buyers is costly and takes away from our ability to sell that item sooner so we ask that you only ask for a payment plan if you are serious about owning the item. If for some reason you are unable to complete the agreement and payments, the payments you’ve already made will be non-refundable. If you are interested in setting up a payment plan or reserving an item you are responsible for paying half down upon decision. If you reside in the EU and purchase an item from our shop you have a 14 day window from the date you receive your purchase to return your order. In the case that you do request a refund you must send the item back in its original condition. Once the item is returned in its original condition you will receive a refund for your order and the original shipping costs within 14 days.

 

 

Privacy Policy

 

The information we receive from you is used solely for the purpose of giving you the best possible service. The only information we use is the information you give to us when subscribing to our shop, placing an order (ex. entering name and email), or when communicating with us directly. We use your contact information to keep you up to date on our newest finds, featured items, coupon codes, to communicate with you about your order, and sales etc. In the case that you do not want us to contact you or keep your contact information on file please feel free to send us a message and we will be more than happy to take you off our contact list. You can contact us via our contact page or by emailing us directly at thefamiliarscent@gmail.com. Your phone number and physical address will not be used as a form of contact nor will your payment information be kept by us. We offer PayPal at checkout to ensure your payment information is transferred and secured through a trusted network apart from our website.

We advise against ingesting or using any of the stones purchased on our site in an elixir.  We also advise that you keep your stones and crystals out of the reach of children - we do not accept responsibility for improper use of the items by you or anyone else. The stones offered on this site are not meant to replace or substitute any prescribed treatment from a physician. The information in our shop reflects ancient beliefs and insight into the realm of natural healing. There is no concluding proof that metaphysical crystals can heal physical, emotional, or mental conditions. We do not accept responsibility for how you choose to interpret or use the information given on the site. Azurite gets its beautiful appearance from copper which is toxic. Wash hands after using and keep away from mouth - only external use.

 

Malachite and Lapis Lazuli - Wash hands after use, we advise against using in an elixir for it contains toxic compounds.

 

Charoite - some charoite samples have been found to be radioactive , please keep out of reach of children, eyes, nose, and mouth, wash hands after use.
