Bahia Amethyst:
 
            This new array of amethyst, smoky, and quartz combines three potent forces into one and comes from Bahia, Brazil. These are a fairly new discovery that have become available to us over the last 1-2 years and are being referred to by crystal enthusiasts as the Brandberg Amethyst of Brazil. It’s a crystal that is all about grounding, stability, and higher consciousness. Its smoky rays help to anchor the body and promote feelings of safety and security while lady amethyst helps to comfort and soothe an overactive mind. These lovely crystals have come to help us feel more comfortable in our own skin so that we can trust the inner workings of our higher creative minds. 
The crystalline structure of Bahia Amethyst works to stimulate the bottom and top of our energy fields, calling to action further balance between our higher and lower self. While the work takes place the clear-light smoky quartz within these crystals will work to purify and release blockages that may consciously come up. Work with these crystals in meditation or in your free time will also bring your attention to these blockages and help you come up with imaginative yet tactful ways to create further equilibrium inside yourself. I have enjoyed working with these crystals near a windowsill very early in the morning and/ or at the golden hour when the sun is still low enough to shine through its mysterious layers. The magic inside the crystal seems to deliver an uncanny depth of deep majestic purple, sensational dazzle of misty quartz, and bold smoky sprays of nature’s secret abilities to pass on subtle and uplifting messages from the mineral kingdom.  
 
When we bring a new crystal home with us, I always like to test it out myself to fully connect with what the energy has to offer us. I’ve been resting a Bahia Amethyst on my nightstand with the tip of the crystal pointed towards my head while I sleep. The first night I got a powerful visit from my spirit guide, the wolf who confronted me with his wise messages from the spirit realm. He is always playful even while teaching serious lessons so it sure was an adventure! When I don’t see him for a few months I always miss him, so this visit was nice, but they aren’t all (only because he’s always right, whether it’s about something good, bad, or in-between). The second night was filled with many signs and symbols that were so powerful I woke up and decided to write this description and get these beauties photographed and released to all of you! Since working with this crystal, I have also felt a deep sense of motivation to clear up some areas of inner conflict that needed my attention and devotion. 
 
Amethyst: 
            This magnificent crystal works primarily in our Crown Chakras to help us gain a deeper understanding of the world around us and within us. Its main goal is to move you away from a fear-based life and help you fall into a cosmic dance with the resilience of your spirit. This joyous and intelligent crystal brings about a great sense of peace and understanding of why some change is necessary for your divine blueprint, helping one push past difficult transitions. Amethyst is one of the most multi-faceted crystals available to us. It’s very useful in enhancing visualization skills in meditation and in reaching higher states of consciousness. It also vibrates at such a high velocity that it has the ability to magnify the strength of other crystals around it. 
            Amethysts potent energy is a great companion to have around while detoxing emotionally or physically. It works to keep you in touch with what’s best for you on your path and works to combat unwanted entities of energy that try to exist in the body. When used in crystal healing it can offer its user a great deal of insight into one’s life by guiding them into a deeper understanding of the cause and effect of both negative and positive thoughts and actions. 
            Many use this crystal by their bedside for a good night’s rest. I find Amethyst to be especially useful in my dream states, helping me gain a deeper understanding of my life from the inside out. Amethyst has been my astral travel guide on many occasions to help me clearly interpret my dreams by drawing connections to common themes and environments of a parallel state within my subconscious.
            Not only is this Amethyst a wonderful mate for astral travel but for physical travel as well. If you often experience uncomfortable feeling associated with separation anxiety (ex. leaving the home or loved ones) and are on the road traveling, this is a great crystal to keep by your side. It works within our auric fields to help us consciously move away from feelings of fear, anxiety, and grief and replacing those feelings with strength and a deeper trust in the universes grand plan.
