Selenites name derives from the Greek Moon Goddess Selene and holds a very high vibration. When you shine this beautiful crystal into the light you will see the graceful pearly glow much like that of the moons. This is a highly protective stone of love and mental clarity. Working as a link to your light body and assisting you in finding your divine purpose both physically and on a subconscious level. 
Selenite is one of my personal favorites because it has many uses. Aiding in communication and contact with your angels or spirit guides for guidance and protection. I keep Selenite on me at all times by my door and in my care for protection from negative energies. Selenite works within the auric field of its user to detect unwanted thoughts and patterns of behavior. Helping their user consciously let go of harmful thoughts and emotions that aren’t in their highest and best.
